LODGE OF FREEDOM 77
FREEMASONRY
The Lodge of Freedom 77 Volunteer Program & Fundraising initiatives embody our commitment to serving the community and supporting those in need. Through organized volunteer efforts, our members actively participate in projects that benefit local charities, assist community groups, and address pressing social needs in Gravesend and beyond.
The lodge’s fundraising events are a cornerstone of our charitable work, bringing together members and the community to raise vital funds for local causes, health initiatives, educational programs, and disaster relief efforts. These activities not only strengthen the bonds within our lodge but also allow us to make a tangible difference. Every volunteer hour and every pound raised reflects our shared values of compassion, integrity, and service, as we work together to create a positive impact on the lives of others.

In thier own words:
We were honoured to host the family of Ann Walden and several members of the Gravesend Lodge of Freedom 77 who visited Darent Valley Hospital (DVH) last Friday afternoon.
Ann was treated on Pine Therapy before her passing last year and her family were so thankful for the care she received that they wanted to give something back to the unit.
As a result Ann’s husband David, together with son in law Steve, organized a Christmas event at the Masonic Hall in Gravesend which raised £1000 for our Cancer Fighting Fund
The donation was made directly to Victoria Gerard, Senior Sister on Pine, who extended the unit's profound thanks for this fantastic gesture.
Valley Hospital Charity would like to add our own thank you to David and his family plus the members of The Lodge of Freedom 77 for their amazing kindness and generosity.
